How to Start Your GreatLifeStory

1. To Start, scroll over the CREATE button in the top tool bar. This drop- down menu will appear.
2. Click on YOUR GREAT LIFE STORY

How to Compose your GreatLifeStory

1. Enter your name, birth year, birthplace on the left
2. Select a security option
3. Enter story headline in the CAPTION box
4. Enter your story text in the box below the CAPTION. If you like, use the chapter questions at left to guide you
5. Hit “SAVE”
   

Tip: You can Start a story Under any of The 12 “chapters” In this left-hand column

How to Create a New Account

1. After you’ve started your first story and hit SAVE, you will be prompted to create an account. Fill in the boxes with email, password, screen name, gender, birth year.
2. Please review site Terms & Conditions of use. Click the “I Agree” button to continue.

How to Upload Photos

1. To Upload a photo, click either photo box. The box on the left works best for portraits
2. The box on the right works best with horizontal or landscape pictures
   

Tip: Want to change a photo? No problem! Navigate back to this page Click on the image you want to change Follow the on-screen prompts

How Upload Photos & write a descriptive caption

1. When you hit the “BROWSE” button. You will be taken to files containing images on your computer.
2. Enter a descriptive Caption for your photo
3. Hit the UPLOAD Button.

How to select an image from your photo files

1. TO select a picture, Click on it and hit the “OPEN” button. Your picture will be automatically pasted into your story layout

When Done, hit “SAVE” Button to go to your Dashboard

1. Here’s your story with text and photos in place. Hit SAVE to save story and photos and go to your control dashboard
2. Tool Bar buttons are handy to format text or add special effects
   

My Stories” Dashboard Shows story status at-a-Glance

1. If you’ve created stories for more than one person click here to see all of them
2. Completed Story Chapters
3. Latest revision to story
4. Security level Edit, Delete or view a story.
5. To see the chapter you just
   completed, hit “VIEW”

Tip: Track progress! Stories have a max of 12 chapters. When you add a new chapter, the web site auto-generates a new line of summary info for you
