Why Rent Machinery When you can Rent Football Players?


As an Air Force wife I had to become very self sufficient. We all did. Not shy.

We went to Dayton, Ohio and had an air conditioner delivered. My husband and I tried to install it in the window. He was standing on a chair that had no legs. As soon as he got up on the chair and tried to lift it into the window the chair sank.

I thought to myself that this was ridiculous. There must be something that we could rent that would help us get this job done. The rental place said they had nothing that would do the job. As I was leaving I told them: “what I need to do is rent a couple of football players!”

The rental yard guy turned around to me and said: “well here are a couple of them right now. They just got home from college.”

They came home with me and those kids boosted that air conditioner right up into the window!
