While I Taught Sunday School, My Kids Sneaked out to buy Candy

I was the director of the church choir.  I was the head of the youth department.  We used to work with the Luther League, worked with the youth, well, about everything we did with the kids involved, but my boys were still boys.  I mean, when I’d take them on Sunday and while I taught, they were sharp enough that they would go out the side door and down in the basement and take their Sunday school money and they’d go down to Morrie’s on the corner and buy candy!  I didn’t find out about that until much later.

There’s just so many experiences and I’ve tried to write them all down and collect them In my book, I have a letter to each boy and I thought, well, if something ever happens to me it would be nice handwritten that they could read.  So I wrote a letter to each boy and that’s why I say I keep adding to that cause I keep thinking, “shoot I need to write that!”
