I was born early and I only weighed 3 lbs.  I was 14 inches long.  That was in 1951. All I could ever say is I must have had a heck of a will to live . My dad always told me I slept in a shoe box and I wore Hankerchiefs for diapers . I was very little.

My Grandad who I love so much to this day came to Lousiana and took care of me.  Mama always told me he stayed a month.  My Nanny was a wonderful woman.  She was married to my Grandad.  She loved all of us kids.  There wound up being 6 of us.  All girls.  Can you imagine that .
