Hard to believe it, I’m 71. I never thought I’d be as active and able as I am at this age. When you think about somebody 70 years old they seem practically dead. I got lots of time to go as far as I’m concerned!

I am Douglas Guinness Wynn Levick III, which is a big burden to carry. It’s a long name but they are old family names. I am the third in the line. My parents were living in Charlotte, North Carolina and we went there. My mother was having some trouble with pregnancy so we went there to a different place with a better hospital and better medical care to do that.

Let me say something about my parents briefly. Both parents grew up in the New Jersey area. Mount Claire for my father and Newark in the case of my mother. My mother lived there her whole life and had German parents, and my father was a product of English parents. They all were Americans and both grew up in that area. So, that was kind of home base for them.
