An Ohio Family Heritage that Dates Back to the 1850s

So, and I was born in the house that was built by my grandfather, or great-grandfather maybe? It was built in 1855 and that house still stands. My father was one of eight children and he’s the one that got the farm. There were four boys and four girls, in the end, so that is where I was raised until I was 18. Then I was married and moved to Finley.

My father’s name was Harry Grover Lugibihl. My mother’s name was Metta Moser, no middle name. My father was born on November 4th, 1884 and he died September 18, 1938.

My mother’s name was Metta Moser and she was born October 8, 1888 and died September 18th, 1935. They were married March 7, 1915.

I have one sister and one brother. A brother John Julian Lugibihl, and sister Suzanna Elizabeth, and they are both gone. I don’t have the dates with me. I did have it today. They are both gone. I am the only survivor.

I married Alton Thomas Wagner on September 7, 1940 and we have four children. He passed away on May – I hope this is right – May 12, 1999. That’s awful. You can tell I’m not impressed, I guess?

We had four children. My oldest daughter is Constance Sue Nelson, was born in 1942, and she has a daughter Teresa Rene. My oldest son was born in 1946 and his name is Phillip Grover Wagner, and he is married to a Deborah Tharp and they have a daughter Shannon Wagner.

Then I have a daughter Neita Ann Armstrong and she’s married to Terry Russell Armstrong. They have a daughter Alissa Rene. Then I have a son Christopher Jule and he’s married to Ann Crates Wagner and they have a son Stephen and a son Michael. Let’s see, what do I have. What do they do? Do you want to know what they do?
