When I lived in Vermont I was really into downhill skiing. When I came to California I never skied. But this winter I skied for the first time in 30 years. It was amazing kit in on the slopes and back on those skis. The skis have amazing technology. I just loved it!
As far as recreation we are not like your regular American family. We don’t go out and do this-and-that. Every year we go to the Sierras with seven other families. We rent a few houses by a lake in a town called Arnold; it’s called Lakemont Pines, and we just hang out there every summer.
We have this ritual of going to Commonweal, which is in Bolinas. Last summer we did a really fun thing. We took the kids on a trip to Europe. We visited Paris and London.
