We Travel to the South

In 1976 Larry was working on a pipeline down in Magnolia, Arkansas. A kid’s and I went down there in August. He had two weeks on, two weeks off. We went down and stayed for a few weeks with him. When we were down there and we went on down to Houston, Texas to visit my sister and brother-in-law.

Then we came back to the motel and stated the motel which was like a small cottage.

We went back down after our son’s birthday and stayed there until Christmas. What was really funny was walking down the streets in shirt-sleeves looking at the magnolia tree is in full bloom in December!

Coming back up we got as far as Cincinnati when we ran into snow, sleet and a whole ka-boom!

Then it was time to grab the coats out of the trunk.

We went back down again in October, and then at the ends giving we went down to Houston and spend thanksgiving with my sister that year.
