I Love Photography

I’ve got more photographs that Carter has liver pills. I probably have 9000 photos on my computer and another 9000 paper photos. I’ve been trying to sort out all my pictures. I’ve been putting things on CDs.

I always like to take pictures ever since I had a little Brownie camera as a kid. But my real interest took off after college. I used to photograph my dancers. Recently I found some old pictures of my mother back when she was nineteen or twenty. There were five children in our family and I recently found a beautiful old eight by 10in. photograph them than to have reproduced and framed.

After my dad was born, my grandmother was a skinny as a rail. My father is probably fifteen or sixteen months old in that picture. Boys or girls, they all wore the long christening dresses for photographs.

As time went on my mother gained weight. She passed away when I was about four years old, and I never knew my maternal grandmother. I’d be really knew my paternal grandmother. All I remember was sitting on her shoulder and sliding down her belly. She was my sliding board!

I do remember my grandfather chewing tobacco and having a spittoon.

I was so glad to find those old pictures!

Now, it’s just a matter of finding enough wall space to hang them all up.
