When I went to school I always got very good grades. I wanted to go to the University of Washington to get a good degree and a good job. And, I did.

I took my degree in education, and I taught high school business English and business math and computers. I taught in my hometown of Grayland, Washington. I went to Ocasta high school. I was a teacher my entire life

I just enjoyed teaching and I had a lot of good students. I encourage them all to learn as much as they could so they could get a good job. I stayed at the same school for my entire career.

When my mother died, and then my father died that was an awfully hard time for me.

I was proud of being a teacher because I really enjoyed that a lot.
