My parents were Jewish. My mother was raised very orthodox Jew and she didn’t raise us that way because she wasn’t allowed to have a Christmas tree or anything like that. So, we were actually raised with no religion at all.
When my step dad came, he claimed to be an atheist. We lived next door to a reformed Presbyterian minister. So, I actually went to church with them on a fairly regular basis. But when I got older, I kind of got wild and grew out of that.
So, I really didn’t have any religious beliefs or anything like that. My whole thing is that I have no other logical explanation for why man is here other than for what I have learned. I have looked into the background of Judaism to research it, and it is interesting. But I am not really current on a lot of the religious beliefs that are out there, just based on choice. And looking at the way religion is now, why would I want to be religious?
