Well, I was brought up – my parents belonged to the First Christian Church, although my mother was raised in the Methodist I think she was always pleased that all three of her children married Methodists.

So, my husband and I had problems in a small town at first, which church to go to! We didn’t want to offend either family. We wanted to please them I guess, not offend!

My dad was active and my mother in our church, and his mother especially, she was a pianist and organist in their church, and we kind of went to both churches but we came to Findlay. We moved here then and it was easy because we liked the minister at the Methodist church very much and we decided on that.
