I went to church with him. I’d go to mass with him. We had no trouble at all. He’d go to church with me. We were married at the Episcopal Church right back of the drug store across from the hospital.
It’s hard to say because it’s changed so much. It has gotten worse cause I used to earn money and you can’t do the same with money anymore.
I know they’ve gotten tougher for me because I had a hard time raising the boys, but I think they were raised well. But, I worked hard all my life. I did a lot of canning and a lot of working out in the fields. I did a lot of working at night because I was working daytimes. I did my washing and things at night.
