I got married in Deming New Mexico. I was in New Mexico for a little more than two years. I had met my wife when I was going to Fresno state. We got married in the army chapel in Deming on July 3, 1943.

My wife’s name was Doris. We met at school in Deming. I think it was a dance or someplace; I don’t really remember.
