I was married twice. I’m presently married to my second wife. Hopefully that will continue!

I have two boys, Mike and Jeff.

At the tannery we had a pretty good summer program where any of the kids could work there.  Both of my boys worked on that summer program.

My oldest boy also worked at the tannery for about seven years, I think. Then he decided that he would go back to college. At one point, three generations of my family were working in the tannery.

I also had nieces and nephews who worked at the tannery. My brother also worked at the tannery, so naturally the jobs came through him.

The oldest one is working for a company called Sun telecommunications.  They make a lot of test equipment for electronics companies.

Jeff, the youngest one, has just changed positions. He was working for Sanmina, which is another electronics company.  He didn’t like the hustle and bustle of that business.  He was in marketing, which in that business is a tough, tough, tough position to be in.  He just switched to Crocs shoes.  There like a beach wear shoe.  These shoes are a huge hit.  That company started from nothing and skyrocketed.  He’s involved with supplying Crocs to Fed Ex, UPS, and hospitals.  For a while they were selling them through kiosks Such as the ones at Valley Fair shopping center.  They’re comfortable as heck!

The main thing with the shoes is that you’ve got to get them big enough. You don’t want them small, you want them sloppy.  Otherwise your toes hit the ends.

A week ago the shoes were featured on KGO radio on John Hamilton’s show.  He advised everyone who was going flying to buy themselves a pair of Crocs.  When you come to the security line it just kick them off and go through.  No problem either when your feet swell when you’re at 35,000ft...
