I Liked Geometry, Trigonometry and Shooting

It wasn’t until high school that I clicked in school. I was pretty much a B student until then. When I got into the higher levels of math, I found them really interesting. I really liked geometry, trigonometry, and those sort of things.

My mom was always pushing me to join a club because I was so unsociable, but I never would.

One hobby that I had was pistol shooting. My dad belonged to a group called the Tamalpais Revolver Club. This group was mostly older people. So I joined a rifle club that met on Saturdays. I did that through junior high and high school. I continued into college and joined the Cal Poly Rifle team. I did that all four years and participated in rifle matches in different parts of California and Nevada. I won some trophies and things. After college I didn’t keep up with it.
