Hanging Out with the Rich and Soon-to-be Famous

I went to Del Mar high school in San Jose, California. For my senior year I went to Judson near Scottsdale, Arizona. That was a wonderful experience. I had my own horse to take care of. I lived in a dorm and had a lot of interesting classmates.

A lot of my classmates were from rather famous parents who probably sent them to school for a year to get rid of them. Judson was a college prep school, and I got really good grades there.

President Reagan’s son Michael was in the same dorm with me. The fellow who put in the London Bridge over Lake Havasu, McCullough, of the chainsaw family, was at the school. She was the only one allowed to have a car at the school, and it was a Jaguar. The daughter of the Armour meat company was there. All these people were in my class, and the classes were small. There might only be eight people in a class.

It was easy to get good grades because you had nowhere else to go. You just went to your dorm and studied.
