I’m grateful for everything.

The time in history when I was born was the era of the silver spoon. I missed the wars; I missed the busing. It’s been a time of plenty; it’s been easy.

I’ve never had to worry about how I am going to feed myself, ever. My grandparents on both sides of my family worked very, very hard. They instilled the good work ethic in my parents and, believe it or not, in me. Even though my work ethic is not typical or traditional, it’s valuable.

Everything’s come easy to me in life. I’m grateful for whatever reason. I’m grateful to my wife for tolerating me.
