I would be really remiss if I didn’t mention this. We go through life knowing our parents as our parents. Some people spend a lot of time with their parents and some don’t. Others know them as authority figures.

Because my parents worked with me through my entire adult life became not only my parents but also my business partners and my best friends. Many of my siblings know my data as a father figure but I am fortunate to also know him as a friend and mentor.

My mom I’ve always felt was the eternal peacemaker.

My parents are the true love story. I always tell people that if I screw up my life it’s my own damn fault because I had such great mentors and teachers. If I can emulate them in my relationship with Jackie for my kids I will have done OK.
