We are an anomaly in the gay community because our lives don’t revolve around being gay. Sure, we are gay, but that is not all we are.

Matt: I am a brother, a son, a teacher and I am also gay. We have friends who say we are not gay enough because we don’t live in the gay neighborhood and have the gay lawyer and the gay doctor. People think we need to be more ‘out’. We just feel that we are normal people and life is life.

What would the book about your lives be: “This is the last worthless evening you will have to spend.”
