Give of Your Time and Your Talents

I’m grateful for having had a loving family. My father was a special person to me. He was much more loving than my mother. She was a different person.

I’m grateful for my aunts and uncles; some of them were really good.

I’m grateful for my friends.

I’m grateful for being allowed to be myself.

I’m grateful for having a very loving husband.

I’ve been blessed! I really have!

I’ve been blessed professionally. The reason I do the volunteer work is that I want to give back something of what god has given me, and help other people.

I am a member of Advocacy, incorporated. I’ve learned a lot from those people. In my retirement I told them at Christmas that I feel blessed to do this work because it has enhanced my retirement years. I am still being validated for what I know and can share.

It’s not always money. It’s your time and your talents. That is what god wants from us. He will always give you more.
