Thankful for Eyesight and Other Miracles

Well, I give thanks that - I had an eye doctor a few years ago that told me I was going to be going blind. And a year ago, on Christmas morning, I was awakened by a neighbor pounding on my door and saying, ’get out of there, your house is on fire!’ And woke me up at one o’clock in the morning and sure enough the house was on fire.

About a month after that, I was trying to read the newspaper and I couldn’t read it. I would see some letters and then there would be a blank space and then I’d see some more letters and so on.

So I called a different eye doctor, I called an ophthalmologist - the other was an optometrist, and I said I want this verified or ruled out. He made me an appointment, and I went out.

He said, you have cataracts. In that one month from the fire until I got in to be checked, the stress had brought this on that much faster and I had both eyes done and I can see things and read things that I hadn’t before. And to go out and see bright colors and things, and I’m extremely grateful for that.

I like a lot of bible prophesy. I listen to everything like that that I can. I see things happening now that have been in the prophesies.

Recently, they had a man on television that I don’t remember what they said was causing it, but his flesh seemed to be just falling away - some type of bacteria or something. That is prophesized in the scriptures; it calls it a melting away of the flesh. I see that we’re living at a time when these things are being fulfilled, and it is an exciting time to be alive. To see - you read this, the prophesies, and then see it happen in the news. All of a sudden it’s there, and you say wow, you know. What a mighty God we serve.
