Just Let the Mystery Be!

I don’t attend many Alcoholics Anonymous meetings anymore, but when I do know we talk about subjects such as gratitude. We take one word and discuss it. Gratitude is a good word.

I am grateful that I have love in my life. I have feelings and emotions now where as before I didn’t really care.

I don’t try to figure out what’s going to happen in the next life. Some other people do. Hopefully I’ll go where I’m supposed to go. I actually heard that one on KPIG radio. I can remember the singer but she said something like this: I think I’ll just let the mystery be!

Don’t fight it; just enjoy it.

To me gratitude is being grateful for little things.

I’ve been in Santa Clara for ten years. It’s a nice town. People are nice, and we live on the street where there are a lot of young people. There are students just trying to make it through life, too.

I think we’re fortunate to live in this country even though I don’t like some of the politics. I’m thankful that I have enough to eat, that I have loved in my life, that I have my good health, my children. That’s basically it.
