We are grateful for each other and our parents. I was fortunate to be born into a middle class family. Money was tight, but I had an easy childhood. Nancy was similar. I never had to look for work. I worked for the same company for 28 years, and when I had to switch, I put word on the street, and got a new job.
Life is full of setbacks and things like that, and you just have to go forward. The other thing is whatever you do, work your hardest, and do the best you can. I thought at one time, I wanted to be an attorney. But I would have to go to law school fulltime, and I didn’t think it was fair for Nancy to support me for four years, so I decided to just do the best I could in this industry.
