When I was a kid we didn’t do the things kids do nowadays. Our folks controlled us more. We worked a lot. I used to work all summer long to make enough money to go back to school. I helped pay my way through college. Things are just different nowadays than they were 60 or 70 years ago.

I think everybody should have a good education. It helps out a lot. Put your life and soul into it. Don’t just sit around and let your good years go by. At times I wished I had finished my college education, but then I didn’t want to be a teacher. I had lost my interest in teaching.
