We always enjoyed a good laugh.

My one brother especially, he and his wife were just great. They lived down the road from us in Illinois and we were close, but became closer over the years. As he used to say he thought I was closer to his wife than I was to him!

I used to say the same thing about him and my husband. I thought my husband was closer to him than he was to his own brother sometimes cause they did things together.

We named them incase something happened to both of us to be guardians of our daughter. We had a closeness that was really great, and of course he’s gone but that’s the one sibling spouse that I have living. No siblings on my side of the family or my husband’s and that one spouse are still living and we still are close, but far apart.

I expect maybe one of the most important things that friends are very important. Friends are next to family. In our family sometimes they are the same as family.

I wished I had been more of a student of the bible. I didn’t go to many bible study classes. I don’t know as much about the bible as I wish I did.

Cause of my eyes I learned – I had cataract surgery back in my 40s and I’ve had poor eye vision since then, cause they removed the cataracts in those days and I don’t have implants. That’s why I have the heavy glasses, and there is nothing that can be done now. I’ve had a cornea transplant. I’ve had quite a few problems with eyes, but you learn to make do.

But I think, people, family and friends are the most important.
