Life is simpler than you think and more complicated than you believe.

I have a piece of Hawaiian mahogany.

Tom smoothed it out and I painted these words, “I will make my life a joy to live and a joy to live with.” That’s important. Important. On the other side it says, hmm… You know, it hasn’t been turned over in a long time and it’s something I wrote when I did it. It’s probably 15 years old or whatever.


It’s very simple but my husband made the racks for it and I thought it’s a constant reminder that you should make yourself presentable to live with. We’re all connected.
