Give Back

“Give Back”

First, be yourself. Don’t be afraid of what other people think about you. Live honestly and be trustworthy. Have fun.

Help people; give back. There are so many unfortunate people in the world!

One time, I won a bit of money at the racetrack.

I took a thousand dollars of my winnings and gave it to someone to help them get into an apartment. The social organizations can help an individual with Brent, but they can’t give the first months’ payment, the last month, and the security deposit. My gift enabled a family to get into an apartment. This happened while I was teaching at the University of Massachusetts. I lived in a town called Ware, Massachusetts, which used to have a lot of old fabric mills. The socially aid agencies helped me find a deserving family. I never met them, and never will meet them. I told the social workers that I wanted to help a single mother or a family with children.
