(Laughs) I can’t understand one thing, is why don’t people get along? I mean, I am no better than you are and visa versa. You got some people that come in here and they think that everybody owes them something and they just got here. I have a grandson that was the same way. Him and I don’t get along. You know… You gotta learn to listen.

That’s why I say putting a person in the military is great cause then they start taking the value of what’s going on in life. Nothing is handed to you on a platter and as soon as you get that out of your mind the better off you are going to be and the better you are going to get along with everybody else. Maybe they don’t want me saying that but that’s the way I feel about it.

For me, I had lots of chances to get an education but I always thought I was smarter than everybody else. It didn’t work out that way, but I have no complaints. It could have been a lot worse. Maybe it could have been a lot better, but I’ll never know.
