You’ve got to take care of yourself because no one else will do it. The corollary to that is no one else knows what you want. Don’t wait for someone else to try to figure out what you want. Figure it out yourself and do it! Take responsibility.

The other one is to be cognizant of your own fears. There are things that we have learned to avoid because we are afraid of them. Your fears could be keeping you from some really wonderful things in life. Learn to identify your fears and overcome them.
